The SportDog Sport Hunter Shock Collar is a longer range version of the popular Filed Trainer SD 400. It has all of the same features but uses a slightly larger transmitter with a more powerful antenna for longer range. The Hunting Dog Trainer is a 1/2 mile system compared to the 400 yard (1/4 mile) SD-400. You can customize your SportDog Sport Hunter SD-800 Shock Collar to match your training preference. It comes set up in MODE-1 (an 8-level continuous + 8-level momentary stimulation one dog collar with a non-stimulation tone button), but it can easily be changed into 7 different modes with different button configurations. This allows you to customize your transmitter to your training needs.
The SportDog Sport Hunter Shock Collar can be expanded to three dog remote trainer by adding a "Add-A-Dog" collar and using the toggle switch on the transmitter.
